daybreak dragons

The Scholastic Book Fair is here!

Come join the fun and buy books for holiday presents while supporting the Daybreak libraries!  The book fair is open for 3 days this week before the Holiday Break - December 12th (Tues) - December 14th (Thurs) from 8:45 - 4:15pm.  This will give parents time to shop with their kids (or without) before or after school.  We also have an online fair available now through Dec 19th.  **Please note ALL items ordered online will arrive AFTER the Winter Break.

Do you like getting involved or helping a great cause?
Join our volunteer team to:
  • Help take down Dec 15th
  • Help organize displays
  • Help shoppers of all ages to find their perfect book
If you are able to volunteer, please contact Rachael Marlow @ marlow.rachael@battlegroundps.org or wooley.kara@battlegroundps.org.  Thanks ahead of time!

HIV/AIDS Prevention Curriculum Preview Night (& Opt Out Procedure)

It’s almost that time of year again - HIV/AIDS Prevention curriculum in the classroom!

The curriculum preview & opt-out instructions are up year-round on the district website. You are invited to preview the materials in one of three ways:

1.) Anytime on the district website at: http://www.battlegroundps.org/home/hiv-aidsprevention/hiv-aids-curriculum

2.) On Tues., October 24, 2017 at Maple Grove K-8 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the library/media center.

3.) Anytime in person in the middle & high school offices.

Parents may opt their child/children out of this curriculum teaching if they wish, either using the online form or by requesting a form in their school office (printed form).

Reminder: If you've opted out 1 or more children before, you don’t need to again. Your family will remain opted out unless we are instructed otherwise.
