SPRING CONFERENCES are next Thursday and Friday, March 27 and 28. Teachers have scheduled conferences with students with whom they are most concerned. If you're interested in a conference, please call or email your student's teacher!
THE 5th AND 6th GRADE SOCIAL has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 18. It will still be from 4:00--5:30 in the commons, and there will still be an ice cream bar, dj, and dodgeball. If you prepaid already, you're set! If not, please be sure to get a permission slip turned in with your $5 now! See you there!
SAFETY ALERT: Please be aware that the construction around the Daybreak campus continues. You can assist with before and after school safety by talking with your kindergarten-8th grade student about safety. Remind children to be aware of their surroundings, use crosswalks and listen to adult supervisors. If sidewalks are not available, students should walk close to the curb and stay off the street. As students enter the neighborhood they should continue to use the sidewalks or curb sides of the street.
Our Daybreak PTA is hosting a Safety Fair on Saturday, March 29th 11:00-2:00 at Daybreak Schools. There will be people from our community talking about staying safe when biking and walking. This is a great opportunity for your family to have a fun outing while learning safety skills. Hope to see you there.

BOOK FAIR:OUR DAYBREAK BOOK FAIR is almost here! This is a great event for our school and a great opportunity for you to get involved. We need volunteers--you don't have to be a PTA member to help out! Click here to email Kerilyn Nash if you'd like to volunteer.
Family Night will be a great time, with a Student Showcase for primary and middle students, a taco bar, and all kinds of family fun.
All proceeds go to our Primary and Middle School libraries, so please get involved, pick up a few great books, and have fun!

PTA UPDATE: "Upon reviewing our minutes from our meeting on Tuesday, January 14, we have realized that there were technicalities with how some of the grants were passed that is not in compliance with PTA standards. This has us needing to reconvene to re-vote on those grants. " Meeting will be Tuesday, 1/28 at 7 PM in the library.
